Bignor is accessed from the A29 at Bury or the A285 Petworth to Chichester road. The road is well signed and you can look for brown tourist information signs to the Roman Villa. Our postcode is RH20 1PQ but this applies to the whole village: use RH20 1PH (the Roman Villa) and we are the house one field to the left of the villa. We have a gravelled drive and parking. If you need guidance, please telephone.

Please give an indication of expected arrival time when you make your booking and let us know no later than 7pm on the day of arrival if you will arrive later than planned.

Bignor is a tiny village in the centre of the South Downs National Park without a shop, pub or public transport.

Sutton is the closest for a pub, then Bury (on the A29 about 2 miles away) for a pub, farm shop and petrol station. Pulborough is about a 15 minute drive and has a railway station, taxi, and a range of local facilities including supermarkets, shops, a doctor’s surgery and chemist. Petworth is a similar distance with good facilities and famous for its Antique shops, but no railway station.
