Bignor is a tiny village in the centre of the South Downs National Park without a shop, pub or public transport.
Sutton is the closest for a pub, then Bury (on the A29 about 2 miles away) for a pub, farm shop and petrol station. Pulborough is about a 15 minute drive and has a railway station, taxi, and a range of local facilities including supermarkets, shops, a doctor’s surgery and chemist. Petworth is a similar distance with good facilities and famous for its Antique shops, but no railway station.
